The sprinkler system was finished on Friday. The controls were installed in the garage and water meters and pumps in the basement. I don't know how to use it yet and although very tempted, haven't tried to turn it on to see what happens. I think I'm going to need some lessons, but it should be able to be set up so it just does everything itself. Most of the landscaping was planted yesterday. I'm surprised at how much was done in one day. It looks like about 90% of it is in. They are still waiting on a few things to be delivered. I was also surprised at the size of the trees. I have a few that are probably 15' tall already which is great. Today fertilizer was put all around the plant beds and it looks like maybe some more grading in the yard. I think they might be back to plant a few more things tomorrow and start putting down mulch because there is now a trailer full of it parked in front of the house. I also got a call yesterday saying there was an error in the quote they gave me and the bill would be hundreds and hundreds of dollars less than I thought. Usually for me, those phone calls go the other direction so I was very happy to hear that for once. There are many pallets of sod lining the streets. I'm not sure if it is mine or it will be going to some of the other new houses but I'm sure it won't be long now. Things are really starting to look good!
