Fire Pit and Trees

16 tons of dirt have been hauled in, 16 to go. There was some more progress today on the pool cover. The grate is now installed. Also several more trees were planted. The biggest change was the fire pit and bench though. Looks great but there is dust everywhere from cutting the bricks. I picked up the window well extension and grate today. Hope to get that figured out this weekend and the air conditioner raised so they can continue working next week. But, each of those jobs could easily become very challenging.

Muddy Mess

I haven't had time to upload pictures in several days so I have a lot of them to share. Even though things did not progress as fast as they expected, the opening party on Saturday was a success. The landscaping and dirt work continues and the fence is also nearly complete. The fence sure did make a big difference. Even though it is not a privacy fence, it definitely makes the yard feel more private. The cover is also partially installed. Right now, I have a pond and muddy mess for a yard so not sure when they'll be able to get back to work.
