It's definitely been a crazy few weeks and some very unexpected events have kept me away from the house longer than I planned, but I now have a very healthy and happy new nephew! I guess he just decided he wanted to show up a little early in Macomb and celebrate Xmas with the family. As for the house, the roof is now done, siding mostly complete, garage doors installed, plumbing complete, electrical complete, insulation going in, and drywall sitting there waiting to go up. I love the colors and the tall garage doors! Most of these pictures are from a trip I made over on the 26th. I did stop by tonight but it was too dark to take pics. It really feels a lot more closed in and quiet with the insulation going in. I'm really amazed with the special sound insulation that went into the media room. It's so quiet in there, it is eerie. Can't wait to hear what a sound system sounds like in that room! I'm meeting with someone to discuss shades and window treatments tomorrow afternoon so should be able to get some better pics then. For now, I'm back in the hotel... only 24 nights left in this place, but who's counting?
