The Building of Greuel Manor: Black Walls!!!

Some of these pictures are from Friday and some are from Saturday. When I stopped on Friday, I saw the dishwasher and microwave had been delivered and was sitting in the garage. Also, more of the painting was done. The upstairs painting looks finished, all of the red and tan on the main level finished, and some of the gray in the basement finished. The black walls in the bedroom, master bath, and basement bathroom were done, but no black walls anywhere else yet. I spent Saturday furniture shopping and starting the process to order shades for the living room, kitchen, and two of the bedrooms with the help of Liz. I think I got everything figured out and bought a new couch and mattress. The painters were working on Saturday when we were there. I got to see the dining room and area around the front door get painted black, which was exciting and looks great. The black paint looks nowhere near as good in the pictures as it does in real life. I'm still thinking that after this week, it'll pretty much be done! Tomorrow morning I meet with the concrete guy to go over some things and I think the granite will be installed!
