It's all coming together fast now! They poured the concrete stoop on Tuesday and painted the garage. They've also put in registers, outlets, cable/phone hook-ups, and most of the lights and plumbing fixtures in the last few days. Doorbell and smoke alarms are in. All of the painting is complete... only touch-ups left. All of the stair rails and wood stair trim has been stained. The light fixtures are awesome. I love the chandeliers in the entry way and dining room and love the lighting in the master bedroom tray ceiling. There are a few finishing touches left, still waiting on the granite, carpet, driveway, and some other outside work but other than that, it's about done. I still think they'll try to finish it this week. That leaves a week for cleaning, their quality inspection and my inspection and another week to fix the things identified and for me to do my final walk-through.
Tonight's activities.... online shopping for furniture, figuring out how to attach the glass shelves for the bar to the wall, gathering information for the bank, gathering information for the realtor, and reviewing quotes and reviews for the components for the home theater.
